Rev. Ariel Calderón
Senior Pastor, 27th Street Revival Center
Rev. Ariel Calderón was born on November 22, 1976, in San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic, to Rev. Rafael and Margarita Calderón. From a young age, he felt called to serve God, often accompanying his father on pastoral visits.
After graduating from Willingboro High School in 1996, Ariel became Youth Pastor at the 27th Street Revival Center. He earned a B.A. in Computer Science from Rowan University in 2001 and married his childhood friend, Michelle Villanueva, the same year.
In 2002, Ariel answered God’s call to full-time ministry, returning to Camden to serve as Associate Pastor under his father’s mentorship. He graduated from the Assemblies of God Bible Seminary in 2005 and was ordained in 2009. In 2015, Ariel and Michelle became Senior Pastors, continuing the church’s legacy of service and community impact.
Together, they are blessed with four children—Josías, Natalya, Julissa, and Eliana—and are committed to advancing God’s kingdom through faith, family, and community.
