Ariel Calderon

Rev. Ariel Calderon was born on November 22, 1976 in San Francisco de Macorís, Dominican Republic. He is the fifth son to Rev. Rafael and Margarita Calderon.

Since a young age, Ariel demonstrated an interest to serve the Lord and his community. He would often accompany his father on pastoral visits to pray for the sick and encourage parishioners. His passion to serve continued to grow as he got older.

In 1996, Ariel graduated from Willingboro High School and in 1999 he became youth pastor at the 27th Street Revival Center. While leading the youth to Christ, Ariel also attended college and in 2001, after graduating from Rowan University with a Bachelors of Arts in Computer Science, he married his childhood friend, Michelle Calderón.

Soon after graduating, Ariel accepted a job offer as a software engineer and relocated with his wife to Arizona. Just a year later, he felt God’s call upon his life and in obedience left his job and relocated to Camden where he served as an Associate Pastor of the 27th Street Revival Center.

After his return to the city of Camden, Ariel enrolled in the Assemblies of God Bible Seminary (Camden Branch) and graduated in 2005. Ariel was ordained into full ministry in 2009.

In 2015, after he and Michelle served as Associate Pastor for over ten years, they were promoted to Senior Pastors to continue the legacy of his father and mentor Rev. Rafael Calderón.

Rev. Ariel and his wife Michelle were blessed with four children; Josias Ariel, Natalya Arelis, Julissa Ivelisse and Eliana Rose.
